Here at Bars2You, we love a good festival - especially when there are cocktails involved. This is one of the reasons why we are delighted to have been involved in The Leeds Cocktail Experience festival for the last four years, with this year being our fifth.

The Leeds Cocktail Experience has always branded itself as having "the best bars under one roof" but this year is a little different. There is no roof! Yes, the Cocktail Experience is going to take place outside! Definitely appealing if you are a fan of al-fresco, lazy weekends and day time drinking (in moderation of course).

As the UK summer weather is so unpredictable, there will be events both indoors and outdoors at The Faversham. A new venue for this year’s event, The Faversham is an award-winning multi-purpose venue which has recently been refurbished and now includes an outside terrace. The Faversham has been open since 1947 and has always been popular, but since the refurbishment, it has become one of THE places to be seen in Leeds.

This year the Leeds Cocktail Experience will bring together the best bars in Leeds with global drink brands and is set to include live music, DJs, and street food traders as well. Bars2You are delighted to be providing a rustic portable bar for Revolucion De Cuba, Banyan Bar & Kitchen, The Botanist, and drink brands such as Tanqueray Gin and Bullit Bourbon. 

The entire line up has not been announced yet, but some early announcements include Jake's Bar who have just launched a new drinks menu featuring lots of fab cocktails, Neighbourhood who are offering bespoke cocktails, The Lost and Found Leeds Club who will be offering refined summer cocktails, and Angelica's offering decadent concoctions with a hint of glamour. 

The Leeds Cocktail Experience is due to take place on Saturday, June 8th which is also World Gin Day, so we are expecting there to be some gin surprises on the day as well, including exclusive gin areas where you will be able to partake in your favourite tipple.
